Blaffer Gallery

Blaffer Gallery is the University of Houston's laboratory for the visual arts and contemporary culture. The commitment to showcasing the most important and relevant art of our time through a diverse range of exhibitions showcasing the work of local, national and international artists was demonstrated through the presentation of diverse and wide-ranging exhibitions focusing on architecture, art history, contemporary art, Latin American art, photography, and Texas culture, serves the needs of the faculty and students of UH’s Department of Art and the Houston art community at large. The Blaffer Gallery's innovative, challenging exhibitions, programs, and publications bring artists, the University community, and the people of Houston into closer engagements with each other and with the important cultural issues of our time.
