Founded in 1974, the Lone Star Ballet continues to present exciting Seasons of Dance each year to the Panhandle area and this one is no exception. From the innovative Kannon Dance Theatre, stunning Rainforest and our own Coppelia, we use diversity and art to reach the full spectrum of patrons, truly proving that LSB is a “Must See!” Our annual production of The Nutcracker in itself is a jewel in the Crown of Texas. More than 15,000 guests enjoy the performance each year.

The dancers of Lone Star Ballet are fortunate to be in residence at West Texas A&M University, a partnership that enables the Ballet to continually train the dancers, while offering outstanding opportunities for them and scholarships that enhance their college educations.
